The Swedish Chamber Orchestra is a full-time ensemble of 39 players based in the city of Örebro (2 hours west of Stockholm). The orchestra has its home in the Örebro Concert Hall, where each member of the orchestra has a private practice room. The orchestra gives some 60 concerts a year including national and international touring (Lincoln Center, BBC Proms, Salzburger Festspiele, Europe and Japan etc). The orchestra records for BIS, Sony Classics, Naxos, Hyperion, SIMAX, Chandos etc.
Audition 1st round – pre recorded video
The first round is a pre-recorded video audition. Please send your CV and recording by email by 4th of August 2025 at 9:00 am CET at the latest to audition@orebrokonserthus.com

Audition 2nd round – live audition in Örebro
The second and the following round(s) will be a live-audition which will take place in Örebro Concert hall on 2nd and 3rd of October 2025. Applicants for the second round will receive a personal invitation by 5th of September at the latest.
